Risk & transparency

Risk warning.

Read this properly. It’s short.

You can lose money

Trading currencies, commodities such as gold, indices, shares and derivatives such as CFDs carries a high level of risk. Prices move against you as readily as for you, and losses can happen quickly. Leverage makes both larger. With some products you can lose more than you originally put in.

Nothing here is advice

Everything published by Mindset Over Markets — trade signals, AI signals, the auto copier, live sessions, chart mark-ups, chat messages, education material and the weekly calls — is general information and education. It goes to every member at once and none of it is tailored to you. It doesn’t take account of your circumstances, your income or your appetite for risk. It is not a personal recommendation and it is not financial advice.

Past results are not a guide to future results

Anything shown about a previous trade or a previous week, including on the results page, tells you what happened then. It doesn’t tell you what will happen next, and it is not a promise or a projection.

Technology doesn’t remove risk

AI signals and the auto copier can place losing trades as easily as winning ones. Automation carries its own risks too: a connection drops, a trade is copied late, a setting is wrong. Keep an eye on your own account.

How MOM is paid

There is no membership fee. Swing trading with CJ is an optional extra, paid directly: a one-off lifetime fee of £200. Separately, some of the team act as introducing brokers, and the broker pays them a commission based on the trading done by accounts under their code. That is a commercial interest in your trading that exists whether or not your trading goes well. It is disclosed here deliberately, and you should take it into account.

Only risk what you can afford to lose

Don’t trade with money you need — rent, bills, food, anything borrowed, or anything you couldn’t lose without it changing your life. If trading is affecting your sleep, your work or your relationships, stop and talk to someone. In the UK, MoneyHelper is free and independent.

Regulatory status

Mindset Over Markets is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and neither is anyone on the team. MOM is an education and community service. Nothing it shares is regulated financial advice, and you won’t have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in relation to anything MOM shares. Your broker is a separate company with its own regulatory status — check it before you open an account.
